Prologue
Alot has changed in Harmony during the three years Theresa has been gone.
Ivy married Sam Bennett
Grace re-married David Hastings
Luis married Sheridan and they have 3 children: Ariel(daughter- 2), Maria(daughter-1), &Luis Jr(son-3mo.).
Miguel married Kay and they have 1 child:Martino(son -1)
Whitney married Chad and they have 4 children: Caleb & Calen (twin boys- 2), Stacy(daughter-1), & Alision(daughter-3)
Jessica married Reese
Ethan never married but lives at the Crane mansion(in my story Ethan is really a Crane the story about his Paternity was made up by Rebecca and Gwen)
Julian is married to Eve ( in my story T.C. died in the past)
Simone is in Paris with her fiance' Jon Luc
Charity married Daniel Crane (Ethan's brother) they have 1 child: Faith(daughter -1)

After the night Theresa heard Ethan say he no longer wanted to marry her, she fled Harmony. She eventually settled in California where she found out she was pregnant with Ethan's children. Theresa got a local job planning weddings and also began working on her now very sucessful clothing line TLF. Since her sons Eric and Erin were soon to be 3, she decided it was time to finally return to Harmony. As the plane started to land Theresa was petrified of what was to come. She had been gone for 3 long years, and had not kept in contact with anyone except Whitney and Chad.
While she waited for her cab to arrive at her mother's home she replayed her tragic wedding. How could she ever face her family. When the cab pulled up to the house she got out, her heart in her throat. As soon as she was out of the cab her mother opened the door. The very second Pilar saw Theresa she ran out the house to her screaming "Mija, Mija, you're home!" Theresa was awestruck by her mother's reaction. She rushed into Pilar's arms crying. Pilar stood back to look at her and she noticed two little boys holding on to their mother's pants leg. "Thersita is there someone you need to introduce me too?" Pilar said as she stared at the little boys that very much resembled Ethan. Theresa bent over to pick up her two sons. Mama this is Eric and Erin. Pilar exclaimed with a beaming smile "I am a grandmother?" Theresa nodded her head relieved by her mother's loving smile. Pilar reached out to grab her grandsons while Theresa paid the cab and retrived their bags.
As Pilar headed toward the house she told Theresa to leave the bags on the sidewalk, because Miguel could get them. When they entered the house Miguel ran to his sister and hugged tears coming out of his eyes. He had missed his big sister dearly during those three years. Once the hug was over he noticed the boys and in a jokingly way Miguel said "Lucy, you got some explaining to do!" Theresa laughed and told him about the suitcases out front. Just as Theresa was about to sit down in the kitchen with her mother , Luis shows up with his wife and kids. Sheridan walks into the kitchen firsts and screams which makes Luis run into the room and see his sister whom he hadn't seen since the night of the double wedding. Luis picked Theresa up and swung her around the room. Sheridan sat at the table with tears in her eyes, explaining to Theresa how much had changed and how much everyone had missed her.
Theresa was about to tell Luis about Eric and Erin, she was very nervous about this, when Eric ran into the kitchen screaming "Mama, Mama I felled outside and got an ouchie!!" Theresa jumped to her feet and cleaned her son up . Kissing his forhead Theresa told Eric to go back otuside with Erin. Once she sat back down Luis looked at her and smiled. Theresa blushing a bit said" Well I guess you already know I have two sons." Luis got up and huged his sister and said sure I knew, Miguel tipped me off." Pilar standing up annouced they were to have a spectacular Bar-b-que today to celebrate the arrival of her daughter. Pilar sent Luis and Miguel to the store to buy everything they needed. As the males left they found this to be a great time to gossip.
As Theresa, Sheridan, Pilar, and Kay (miguel's wife) sat down for coffee as, Whitney arrived with her children to greet Theresa. While the ladies sat in the kitchen drinking coffee Chad (whitney's husband) watched the children. Just when Theresa was going to check on the children Ethan Crane walks in the door. As soon as she sees him her mind just freezes. She can't move or speak and the horrible night of their wedding begins to play. Ethan sees her and starts to speak when Theresa falls to the floor.

"Theresa, wake up honey" Ethan says. Pilar runs in from the kitchen to see her daughter passed out in Ethan's arms. Pilar yelled into the kitchen telling Sherdian to bring a cool towel. Theresa starts to mumble low the a little louder. Ethan leans down to hear what she is saying. In a low whisper Theresa says " Ethan I love you, I always have why don't you love me too?" As Sheridan arrives with the cool towl Theresa starts to stir. She looks up to see Ethan holding her and everyone else standing around her. With slight embrassment she asks Ethan to please but her down. As Ethan eases her onto her mother's couch Erin runs into the house to say he is hungry. Ethan glances at the boy and sees a striking resemblances. When Theresa meets Ethan's gaze she moans sayinmg "Dear god, why right now? Why?" She slowly tries to get up and tells Erin she'll make him a sandwhich but go back outside until she calls him.
Ethan stares at Theresa intensely. Pilar calls the other females and tells them to help her make the children some sandwhiches. And Chad goes outside to round the children up and take them into the back yard for lunch. Theresa looks at Ethan and then looks away, not really knowing what to say. Thinking quietly to herself she says "How do you tell a man he has two 3 year old sons he knows nothing about?" Interrupting her thoughts Ethan begins saying how much he has missed her and worried about her. All Theresa can do is look away. He grabs Theresa's face and gives her the most passionate kiss she has ever had. Coming out of the daze of the kiss Theresa begins to explain why she left. Ethan puts his finger to her mouth and says "No need to explain, just please tell me that you are not involved with anyone." With a serious look Ethan stare intently into Theresa's lost face.
Finally Theresa responds with a no but a very distance look on her face. Ethan happily jumps up and grbas her. Hugging her close to his body Ethan says "You must come out to dinner with me tonight." Theresa still playing her wedding over and over in her mind barely hears him. Ethan picks her and kiss her passionate again. After Ethan puts her down he tells her to be ready for their date by 8 o'clock and walked out of the door. Theresa walks slowly into the kitchen and asks Whitney to take a walk with her. As the round the coroner to the Book Cafe' Whitney says "Earth to Theresa, Come back Theresa" with a soft chuckle Theresa realizes that they have arrived.
Once Whitney ordered for the both of them Whitney looked at Theresa and said "Ok girl what's up? You been spaced out our entire walk here" Theresa still a little distant replies "Whit I still love him". Whitney shaking her head laughed saying "Theresa I know that and so does Ethan." Theresa looking surprised said "really?" But before Whitney could answer her Ivy and Sam Bennett walked into the Cafe holding hands and stopped when seeing Theresa. Before Ivy had gotten to the table she called out " Theresa, Theresa Hi!" Theresa looking up became nervous. The last time she saw Ivy was after Theresa overheard Ethan telling Chad he couldn't marry Theresa and she ran to Pilar crying. Theresa shuddered as she remembered the large grin Ivy had as Theresa told Pilar what she heard. Theresa was brought out of the flashback by Ivy hugging Theresa. Ivy looked her up and down and said "It's been such a long time since I last saw you."
Since Theresa never let Whitney talk about things that happened in Harmony she wasn't aware of Rebecca and Gwen being caught as the culprits in making up the paternity story and sending the information. Ivy noticing Theresa was out of it said "Theresa I hope you don't hate me for ruining your wedding day, I hope you can forgive me?" Theresa looking at Ivy said of course. As the two women hugged Whitney and Sam looked on saying it was very sweet. Ivy sent Sam to order them something to drink while her and Theresa caught up. Telling her all bout Reese exposing Rebecca and Gwen and how Julian tossed Rebecca out on her butt so fast it was quite amusing. They spent some much time catching up they hadn't even noticed Julian and Eve walk in. Eve ran up to Theresa to hug her. Julian was right behind her. Julian kissed Theresa hand saying "Ah the lovely Theresa Lopez- Fitzgerald, maybe with you in town my son can stop looking so down." Laughing Theresa replied " Maybe?" Realizing how late it had gotten Whitney and Theresa said their goodbyes and headed back to her mother's house but not before Theresa invited Eve, Ivy, Julian, & Sam to her mother's celebration.
When Theresa and Whitney made it back they could smell food cooking. Looking out back they saw the men standing around the grill poking at the meat. Back in the house everyone caught Theresa up on who had married who. And who had kids. Theresa sat down to peel potatoes and with tears in her eyes exclaimed " Beacause of me being so afraid of being hurt more than I was I missed everything that happened here, and deprived my sons the right of knowing their family. Pilar leaned next to Theresa who was now outwarldy sobbing and said"Mija you did what you thought was best, and look now your clothing line is a success and you are a stronger woman because of your decision." Smiling up at her mother Theresa began to laugh at how everyone in the room had turned their attention to her as if she was going to take off running again. In an effort for comic relief Theresa jokingly said "Hey y'all I'm not going to run off you don't have to stare."

All day as Ethan worked in his office his mind was wrapped in images of his beloved Theresa. Everytime he tired to think of something else he would remember their wedding night that had been ruined by Rebeeca Hotchkiss and her daughter Gwen. After that night he hadn't saw her again. All Ethan could say to himself was 3 years, 3 years! The love of my life has been gone for three years. Ethan was aburptly brought out of his day dream when someone burst into his office.
Looking up from his desk he saw one of the women whom had ruined his life. Standing in front of him in a designer gown was Gwen Hotchkiss with a bright smile on her face. Ethan enraged by her presence screamed "What the hell are you doing here?" Smiling even wider Gwen said "I heard your little hispanic tramp is back in town" Even more angry than when she had first appeared Ethan leapt up from his desk screaming at her "How dare you call her that, get out of here now and I won't have you arrested!" Seeing that Ethan was serious Gwen just turned around to leave but before she was out of the door and turned around she snidely replied "Poor dumb Ethan while you were crying over her, the tramp you so loved had twin boys with someone else." Laughing Gwen quickly closed his office door. Ethan both shocked and angry sat at his desk wondering whether or not Gwen was telling the truth. Ethan got up and began pacing the room and rubbing his temples.
Outside of the office Gwen and Rebecca stood next to each other laughing hysterically. Rebecca lighting a cigarette said "I bet the poor fool is in there crying his eyes out." Gwen looking at her mother said "He deserves all the pain he's feeling right mother." Rebecca seeing her daughter's obvious doubt of their plans began to remind her of all the hurt, pain, and embrassment Ethan had caused her. Gwen wasn't convinced but pretended to be so that she woldn't have to hear her mother's nagging vioce anymore. Ethan slammed his office door open with a phone in his hand looking at Gwen and Rebecca Ethan politely said "You both have to the count of three to get out of this building or I'll have you two thrown in jail where you belong." Hearing the commotion from down the hall Julian comes storming out of his office. As soon as he saw the two Hotchkiss women Julian became furious. Eve ran after Julian worried about what he might do grabbing his hand she drug him back to his office.
Meanwhile at the Lopez-Fitzgerald home Theresa was just getting Eric and Erin into bed when Ethan showed up. When she answered the door she realized she had forgotten all about their date. Seeingh Theresa's obvious dismay Ethan asked "Did you forget our date Theresa?" Looking down at the ground Theresa said yes. Ethan patted her shoulder and said it was ok and that he could wait while she got ready. Theresa kissed his cheek and ran off to get ready. While Theresa was pinning her hair up Pilar stepped into the room. Looking at her daughter confused Pilar asked "Therasita where are you going you look beautiful?" Blushing a bit Theresa told Pilar about her date with Ethan. Pilar now very worried asked "Mija do you think that is very wise?" Theresa turned towards her mother as she slid her heels on said "Mama I'll be fine, we are just going to discuss things." Theresa hugged her mother before she walked out to Ethan.
When Ethan saw Theresa he was speachless. He couldn't believe how beautiful she looked. Taking her hand he led her out to his car. Once they arrived at the resturant and had ordered Ethan began to ask Theresa questions. As Theresa drank her water she nearly choked when Ethan asked her how soon after she ran off had she slept with someone else. Theresa shocked and hurt began to tell him that the boys were his but before she could get anything out Gwen walked over to the table and threw a glass of wine on her. Screaming Theresa asked Gwen what the hell was wrong with her. A laughing Gwen just stood there and looked at Theresa and asked her "Theresa why don't you tell Ethan about the two little boys you have that are some other man's children?" Theresa speechless began stumbling over her words "Gwe-en what are you ta-talking about?" Gwen now angry "Come on Theresa don't play stupid Sheridan told me about your two sons, and they look like they are around 3. Which means you slept with someone right after you ran off that night!" Backed into a corner Theresa looked to Ethan who was looking at her, as if awaiting her answer.
Now very angry There screamed" I don't have to explain myself to you." Ethan looked at Theresa and said "No you don't have to explain yourself to Gwen. But you sure as hell have to explain this to me." Hurt Theresa stormed away from the table and out of the resturant. Ethan standing at the table was scolding himself "I handled that great. She ran again I am such an idiot!!" Throwing money on the table he ran out of the resturant after Theresa. Seeing her standing on the corner looking for a cab he ran to her. Before he could get to her a car ran up onto the sidewalk and hit Theresa. Throwing her body into the street. As the car sped away Ethan was sure he saw Gwen and Rebecca. Running to Theresa Ethan realized she had no pulse, he began yelling for an ambulance. Sitting in the ambulance Ethan began to cry "Theresa please come back to me, I can't lose you forever."

"Ethan!! Eve called me what's wrong with Theresita" screamed Pilar as she rushed toward a distraught Ethan. Sobbing Ethan replied "She was hit by a car." Pilar falls to her knees and starts praying for her daughter. Just the Luis rushes in grabbing Ethan. "Crane what did you do to my sister" luis bellowed. Sheridan trying desparately to pry Ethan from Luis's death grip. Just then Eve and Julian walk in to the waiting room to tell everyone Theresa will be fine. Chief Bennett and his wife Ivy come in as well questioning Ethan about what happened. Pilar stands up to tell everyone what happened as Miguel walks in with Erin and Eric. Seeingt he two children made Ethan cry even more. He was so angry Theresa had betrayed him, but he still loved her dearly. After Pilar had explained what happened she grabbed the two sleepy boys from miguel arms and introduced them to Ethan. "This Eric Ethaniel Luis Crane and Erin Ethaniel Luis Crane." Astonished by this new revelation Ethan just stared at the two boys for a moment as if to register Pilar's words. Then to everyon'e surprise Ethan leaped up and grabbe dhis sons. Kissing their forehead. Looking at his mother, Ethan said "Mother I have never been so happy in my life." Ivy moved over to her son to congratulate him and hold her gransons for the first time. Looking into their big blue eyes she saw ethan in both of them. SHe hugged them close as tears began to stream down her cheeks.
Eve wheeled out to the lobby of the hospital. "Dr. Crane and I am so glad it is time for me to go home, I missed the boys terribly." Theresa dear you worry too much Ethan is doing just fine with his sons no need to worry. hey there beautiful, Theresa looke dup to see Ethan's beaming smile over her. He leaned down to hug her, they began to kiss. Ethan then lifted Theresa out of the chair to carry her to the car. Once in the car they both agreed they needed to seriously talk. On the ride to the Crane Mansion, Ethan continuely apologized to Theresa saying it was all his fault she was hit by the car. Looking lovingly at Ethan, Theresa rubbed her soft hand against his cheek and assured him it was ok. Theresa told him all about the boys' life, and all the things they like and dislike.
Ethan stopped in fron tof the Crane Mansions and asked Theresa if she was ready to go in but his question feel on death ears. Theresa was to wrapped up into memories of the past to hear Ethan. Ethan then said "Theresa what are you mulling over in that pretty head of yours" as he touched her cheek. Ethan's touch immeadiately startled Theresa out of her thoughts. Looking at him she blushed realizing he had probably asked her something. Smiling slightly Ethan said "Are you reay sweetheart?" Nodding Theresa got ready to open her door but Ethan told her to wait. getting out Etahn walked around to the other side of his car, opened the door, and lifted Theresa out of the seat. Theresa squealing said "Ethan you don't have to carry me". Ethan replied with a kiss on the forehead as he grabbed her bag as well. Walking up to the door Julian greeted the two lovedbirds and took Theresa's bag from Ethan.
As Ethan sat Theresa down on a couch she heard two small voices scream grandpa. Looking behind her Theresa saw Julian stooping down to pick up Erin and Eric. Smiling she was happy to see they loved their grandfather so much. Julian sat the boys on the couch so they could hug their mother. Julian then escorted Ethan to the study, asking the maid to get them both a brandy on the rocks. "So my boy what are you going to do with that fmaily of yours, I wouldn't mind having the sounds of playing children around the mansion." Julian said with a huge grin. "Well Father I bought Theresa a ring today, hopefully she will accept." Ethan excalimed with enthusiam. As the maid brung in the brandy both men toasted to Ethan's new fmaily, just as the phone rang.
"Julian is my grandson there with you?" a gruff voice asked from the other side of the phone. "Why yes father we were just discussing the children and Theresa." Julain said proudly. "Good are yo going to marry the girl Ethan?" "WHy yes grandfather if she accepts." Ethan said alittle shocked his grandfather would care. "It does my heart well to see you happy Ethan, you haven't been for sometime." Alistar said seriously. "Oh by the way those two wenches who tired to kill Theresa have been handled permanenly!"Alistar proclaimed rather coldly. Laughing hysterically Alistar said "No I didn't kill them wip that oh-my-god look off of your face." Ethan and Julian both sighed a breath of relief. Erin runs into the room and starts pulling at Ethan's arm saying "Daddy, Daddy, mommy wants to go for ice cream!!!" patting his son's head Ethan says"Sure in a minute Erin." Looking at the phone Ethan tells Alistar he has to go, fatherly duties await. Laughing at his grandson Alistar tells Ethan goodbye. Once he is out of the rom Alistar tells Julian he is coming to town tonight but do not tell anyone. Shocked Julian nearly chokes off of his brandy as he assures his father he won't tell anyone. As the Alistar gets ready to hang up, he says "Julian make sure you have some tropical flowers delivered around six o'clock. " and with that Alistar hangs up. Leaving Julian to wonder what his father is up too.

When Theresa, Ethan, and the twins made it back to the mansion they saw a limo outside of the house and wondered whom it belonged to. Once in the house Theresa took to getting the boys ready for bed. Little did she know Alistar had a surprise for her. Getting the boys tucked in she kissed them goodnight and headed down to the kitchen for something to eat. Seeing Eve she sits down and asks the maid for a sandwhich and a cup of tea while she and Eve chat. The two women sat discussing the boys, Theresa's business, and what her plans were. Theresa told Eve she was very content on staying in harmony to raise the boys. Rather she and Ethan were together or not. Eve smiled broadly glad Theresa was going to stay. Eve got up to bed and kissed Theresa on the forehead saying she was glad to she was staying and that she had always been like a child to her. Smiling at thought of so many people loving her.
Just then Ethan walked into the room hugging his stepmother on her way out. He ran up behind Theresa and lifted her out of the chair. Telling her how much he loved her and wanted to be with her. Getting on one knee Ethan pulled out a black velvet. With dismay in her eyes Theresa stared blankly as Ethan said "Theresa I have known you your entire life, I have always felt as if I needed to protect you and be there for you. And that is what I wnat to do for the rest of our lives, protect you, be there for you, love you, and make you as happy as I can Theresa will you be my wife?" Astounded by Ethan's words Theresa stared speechlessly into Ethan's eyes as it sunk in. AT first she just whispered a hushed yes. But then as she hugged him she screamed "Yes! Yes! Ethan I will marry" Theresa then leaped up into his arms.
A lurking Alistar stood outisde of the door listening to Ethan and Theresa. Laughing he said under his breath Alistar chuckled in a gruff voice "They have no idea what I have in store for them. Turning aroud Alistar walked down the hall to use his cell phone. Whispering "Garrison is my plan in motion? It better be!!" Alistar then walked up the stairs to find his son Julian. "Julian I love you so much."Eve said as she softly kissed Julian's cheek. "I love you too daling, are the kids coming over tomorrow?"Julian replied. Eve whispered "I believe so as she hugged julian close." "Julain" Alistar's booming voice interrupted the loving couple. Quickly reliquinshing her husband's lap Eve exited the room. "Julian my plan is in working perfectly, did you do what I told you." Julian looked sourly at his fatehr for interrupting his "playtime" with his wife. Of course I did everything you told me to but I still don't understand. "
Ethan and Theresa were climbing the stairs to Ethan's bed room when Sheridan walked into the house. Estatic about her ring Theresa ran down the stairs to show Sheridan. Luis came in slightly after his wife and began grinning when he saw teh huge diamond preched on his baby sister's finger. Laughing Lusi said "So you finally get to marry the man you love huh sis?" Theresa surprised by her brother's reaction just smiled and nodded. Sheridan on the other hand was jumping upa nd down like a teenage girl ready to get the gossisp. So Theresa led her off to the living room to tell he reverything. Ethan just smiled knowing how happy Theresa was inside. He and Luis took this time to take a stroll through the gardens and talk about all the unsolved issues they had with one another. The biggest was Luis had a hard time forgiving Ethan for running his sister away for 3 years. Ethan and Luis talked until Theresa and Sheridan wandered out into the graden to find them. Seeing the two men laughing and getting along brung tears to both of the women's eyes. As the two couples walked into the house they promised to meet for lunch the next day.
Theresa sighed a breath of relief as she watched SHeridan adn Luis leave. She really wanted sometime alone with Ethan. While they walked up the steps Ethan decided he'd go check on the boys. Theresa said ok and headed to their room. Before she got to the room she decided to stop by Julian's study to tell him of the good news. Knocking the door Julian said come in. Wlaking over to his desk Theresa showe dhim the ring. Julian got up and walked around his desk to hug Theresa. "Theresa I am glad you are going to be my daughter-in-law." Ethan stood at the door smiling glad to see his ftaher and wife-to-be getting along so well. Walking over to Theresa he wrapped his arms around her wait squeezing her. Seeing Ethan and Julian wnated to talk Theresa excused herself.
As Theresa walked into her bedroom she screamed. The entire house ran to her room to see her passed out on the floor. Ethan got down on one knee and gently storked her hair trying tomake her come too. Eve rushed over to take her pulse. Seeing that she was ok just startled everyone just moved back when she began to come to. No one had noticed Alistar sitting on the bed smoking a cigar. Ethan said 'Grandfather what are you doing here?" Laughing Alistar said in between puffs "You will find out all in time my boy all in time." Before Ethan could ask anymore questions a man stepped out of the bathroom and said hello.

"Momma!!! " "Daddy!!" Ethan and Theresa woke from their wonderous sleep to the voices of their two sons hopping up and down on their bed. Looking up smiling Ethan said I can get used to this as he picked up the boys. Laughing Theresa said "Me too". Sending the boys down stairs. Ethan and theresa got up to take a shower together.
As they walked down the stairs to the dining room for breakfast they say three children and a woman sitting next to Antonio. "Good morning" a cheerful Alistair said. Theresa and Ethan bot said good morning as they sat down for breakfast. "We need to talk about your wedding. I want it to be the biggest social event of the year. I wnat everyone who's anyone their. I have already started preparations" Alistair stated with a smile. Nearly choking on her orange juice Theresa asked was he serious. "Of course darling, I have talked to the biggest fashion, hair, and makeup people in the world. Your wedding is set for next weekend. Saturday two o'clock."
Hi I'm Natalie. Looking up Theresa saw the woman the voice was coming from the woman sitting next to Antonio. I'm Antonio's wife and these are our children Antonio Luis Miguel Lopez-Fitzgearld he's 8, Natalie Pilar Theresa Lopez-Fitzgearld she's 5, and Maria Luisa Pilar Lopez-Fitzgearld she's 3. The children all said hell and Theresa introduced her two sons. The two mothers discussed their children and how they grow so quickly.

Pilar:Theresa! Theresa! are you ok in there?
Gwen:Don't make a move Theresa. You thought you were going to get away with taking Ethan from me. You should have stayed in California. Because now your going to pay
