Luis' Proposal to Sheridan
Luis proposed for real on May 14, 2001.
*Luis and Sheridan are walking into the garden, Sheridan is blindfolded
Luis: You ready?
Sheridan: Oh yeah!
* Luis pulls the blindfold off
Sheridan:Oh Luis, it's just like in my dreams. (looks around smelling flowers) My goodness!
Luis: You like it? Sheridan: I love it! You shouldn't have done this, it must have cost you a fortune!
Luis: Nah, I want this to be a special occasion, its a once in a life time thing.
* Music starts playing
Sheridan : Where's that music coming from?
Luis: See for your self.
* Musicians walk in
Luis: Care to dance?
* Sheridan shakes her head yes
* Music ends, Luis and Sheridan clap, the musicians exit
Luis: Your present is do to be delivered any minute now.
Sheridan: Present, what present?
* They both look around, then a man in a tux enters with a box
Luis: Ah, thanks!
* Man exits
Sheridan: It's just like the box in my dream!
Luis: Well, open it!
* Sheridan opens it and finds a red box with a ring inside
Sheridan: Your grandmother's ring.
Luis: I know it's no surprise, you've already seen it.
Sheridan: It doesn't matter, it's still beautiful.
Luis: It's no secret why we're here. We both know I'm going to ask you a question, and we both know what it is. Before I do, pop the question, I want to tell you why I think your the most wonderful woman in the world. I know the life we'll build together will make all our hopes and dreams come true. I've never met anyone like you, I've never wanted to be with a woman as much as I want to be with you. Your everything I could have dreamed for and more, infintely more. I want to be with you every day, even every minute, and every second. And to make sure that happens, to make sure that we're joined together forever, I'm going to ask you a question. A question I hope will be the first step down the road to our happiness.
* Luis gets down on one knee
Luis: My grandmother told me that when I met the perfect woman, it would be like a phonograph in my head playing my favorite song over and over, and that it would be so beautiful, so perfect, that I'd never want the music to end.
*Imagine begins to play
Sheridan: Do you hear that music now?
Luis: I guess it was always there, I just had a hard time hearing it because of all the times you crashed into my car, and all the arguements we had. But I hear it loud and clear now. My grandmother was right, I never want the music to end, and there is only one way to make sure the music will never end. Sheridan Crane, will you do me the honor of becoming my wife? Will you marry me?
Sheridan: Yes Luis, I will marry you. Yes, yes, yes!
* Luis and Sheridan kiss
